2007 Mini Transat 6,50: 89 boats on the hectic start line in La Rochelle. I was holding a top 10 position for the first 3 days of the second leg from Maderia. Finished 26th in Bahia, Brazil. Transagasgoin: 21 boats abandoned the race on the first leg to Spain, due to 45 knot gale force winds in Biscay. Read more... After the first 24 hours of the race David is in 5th place! It was the first race of the season, with plenty of head winds and long periods of no wind. Click here to read the full report..... Tropée Marie-Agnès Perron: 210 miles singlehanded. It was a tough race with 6 boats running aground on the course. I finished 18th in my class just behind the winner of the minitransat in 2005. GBR 444 takes a slightly different course from the rest of the fleet and moves up from a mid 70th position to 32nd in just one night. David and Ed finished this tough race 29th. Watch the video...
